Grill Cook Restaurant Gränden

Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen AB in central Malmö aims to provide a complete entertainment experience for our guests through our various offerings. Here, you'll find everything from pubs, restaurants, nightclubs, wine cellars, party floors, street food stalls, and our lovely outdoor seating area Gränden during the summer.

We constantly strive to give our guests that little extra in terms of atmosphere, service, and gastronomic experience. To our Restaurant Gränden, which is part of Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen and opens at the end of May, and primarily serves grilled food and classic à la carte and buffet, we are now seeking ambitious and dedicated cooks. Work is most likely available for lunch, dinner, brunch, and weekends or a combination of these.

The work primarily involves traditional cooking from scratch of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. We prefer that you have worked as a cook for several years and have experience in food preparation through grilling and frying at a relatively high pace. We prefer that you possess an innovative mindset regarding cooking, while also being comfortable working with a relatively established food concept.

As a person, you are cheerful, ambitious, stress-resistant, and reliable. You are passionate about giving our guests the absolute best dining experience by applying your precision and innovative thinking about cooking, with an eye for detail. You have good knowledge of food handling and hygiene, and we want you to have completed a certified training in food handling. Furthermore, you are a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. For the sake of our guests, we prefer that you are free from snus and smoking.

There is an opportunity to also work at some of our other offerings within Nöjeskvarteret Malmborgen, such as S:t Markus Wine Cellar. For the right person, there are excellent development opportunities within our company that can lead to a more senior role in the kitchen.

Positions are available for full-time, part-time, and temporary employment. In your role, you will report to the Kitchen Manager.
