Do you have an ambitious attitude towards cooking, enjoy a high pace, and delivering a dining experience beyond the ordinary? Then you might be our new chef?

We operate two businesses on the idyllic Käringön.

At the Restaurant, we work with tasting menus in a cultural-historical environment, focusing on modern New Nordic cuisine.

Here you get the opportunity to work creatively with ingredients from local producers. Through a combination of classic, creative, and modern techniques, we want to offer a unique food and beverage experience on the West Coast.

We are now looking for someone who wants to be involved in the daily work in the kitchen and who wants to further develop our ambitious approach to Swedish summer cuisine.

Do not hesitate to get in touch if the challenge feels right for you! Experience in similar leadership work is advantageous. However, you will go far with the right ambition and plenty of initiative.

About Simsons Restaurant:

The restaurant is located in the old Simsons Prästgård in the middle of idyllic Käringön. For 10 years, we have worked to make our mark on the West Swedish dining scene. Today, we offer a unique experience with food made from the season's best ingredients paired with carefully selected craft beverages. We are proud to have been awarded, among others, the distinction "Very Good Class" in White Guide and 89 points in Falstaff.
