Restaurant Assistant with Responsibility in Borås

We are now looking for a restaurant assistant at 75% - Are you the right one? Possibility of full-time employment may become relevant or more hours during higher guest flow.

The restaurant serves lunch daily on all weekdays as well as a smaller breakfast selection.

We are looking for you who are passionate about food and restaurants and want to take on a new challenge. You are passionate about service and meeting with guests. You have order and organization in your work and in your planning, both behind in the kitchen and around the restaurant.

You can handle having many balls in the air and are a team player but can also work independently. You are positively inclined and see solutions before obstacles. You have the guest's experience as the most important goal and are part of delivering an amazing overall experience. You are stress-resistant and find it easy to keep a cool head under stressful situations and do not lose your planning or your cheerful mood.

You will work with all the different tasks of a restaurant, from meeting guests, serving food, cash handling and serving, managing reception and some preparation in the kitchen as well as salad preparation, dishwashing and cleaning. You may assist with help in orders/catering. You are used to working alone and planning your day well to finish before going home and leave the kitchen and restaurant in perfect condition for the next day.

You work alone and thus have an eye for details and are flexible and quick to see what needs to be done and take responsibility for completing tasks.

We work for our guests' experience and as a team member with us, you are a big part of the experience but also in the other work that is ongoing.

We prefer that you find it easy to work independently. You are humble and have no problems stepping in where needed, everything from cleaning to cash handling and in between during illness or high workload.

We prefer that you have experience from previous similar work and it is meritorious if it is long-term. Work with similar tasks and setups is also meritorious.

Working hours are normally scheduled on weekdays 8:30 - 15:00. The restaurant is closed on weekends and holidays.

Driver's license is meritorious.
