About Avesta Health Primary Care Center

Avesta Health Primary Care Center has existed since 2012 and currently has nearly 8,000 registered patients. We have approximately 35 employees including district doctors, specialist trainee doctors, foundation year doctors, specialist trainee doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, midwives, child health center nurses, and district nurses with various specialty areas. We also have counseling nurses, medical secretaries, psychotherapists, as well as nursing assistants and our own laboratory.

We are a privately owned primary care center that has a healthcare choice agreement with Region Dalarna, so for individual patients the exact same conditions, healthcare guarantees, fees, etc. apply as at a publicly operated primary care center. Avesta Health Primary Care Center is independent from large healthcare companies and operates solely in Avesta but with many registered patients also from surrounding municipalities in both southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland.

Our premises were expanded and renovated in 2021 and are well adapted for our operations. We share the building with Avesta Health Occupational Health Services.

Job Duties

We have two physiotherapists working part-time and wish to expand with an additional physiotherapist at approximately 80% (negotiable). You will work in close collaboration with other physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistant and occupational therapist as well as team-based with doctors, nurses and talk therapists at the primary care center.

Start date from April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Licensed physiotherapist.
