Your Responsibilities

You work mobile and provide support to the municipality's various operations (currently 9 group homes, 2 service homes, and 2 SÄBO). Your main tasks include:

  • Assessment & Intervention: Independently assess, implement, and evaluate medical interventions.
  • Acute & Planned Interventions: Handle everything from planned visits to acute healthcare needs and palliative care at end of life.
  • Consultation: Provide professional telephone consultation to nursing staff.
  • Collaboration: Contact doctors when needed and follow prescriptions.
  • Documentation: Record-keeping occurs in the municipality's operational system according to applicable legislation.

Requirements for the Position

To succeed in this role, you must remain calm under pressure and have high clinical competence.

  • Licensed nurse with experience deemed relevant for the assignment.
  • Language Requirements: Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You must be able to communicate fluently with patients, relatives, doctors, and care staff and document in a legally secure manner.
  • Quick Response: You must be able to respond to alarms within 15 minutes and be on site for acute visits within 30 minutes (60 minutes for geographically remote areas such as Djurö).
  • Quality-Conscious: You work strictly according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and national guidelines for, among other things, palliative care.

We Offer

A responsible and varied job where you get to use your full breadth as a nurse. You become an important link in the care chain and make a difference for the municipality's residents when they are most vulnerable.
