Driver for Truck Mixer & Asphalt Paver CE

Skottorps Åkeri AB is a trucking company located in Hisings Kärra in northern Gothenburg. We have seven truck mixers, one tractor unit, two excavators, and a wheel loader. Our main business is asphalt transport, but we also perform excavation, gravel, and recycling transport. Here, everyone works as a team, and we place great importance on personal qualities – the right person is as important as the right skills.

What you will do

• Drive truck mixers with a primary focus on asphalt transport and sometimes also asphalt pavers.
• Perform transport within excavation, gravel, and recycling as needed
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients in a professional manner
• Some assignments may occur in other locations with overnight stays in the truck

Requirements for the position

• Driver's license with CE qualification
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital tachograph card
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Experience driving with a trailer
• At least 6 months of experience driving heavy trucks
• Good references from previous employers
• Interest in heavy vehicles and a professional approach to work

Advantageous

• Maneuvering with truck mixer and trailer
• Asphalt transport
• Driving with asphalt paver
• Certificate from the Work on the Road course

The experience requirement can be waived for applicants who have completed a three-year Swedish upper secondary education in the Vehicle and Transport program with good grades and testimonials.

Our vehicles – order and tidiness

We care for our vehicles and a good working environment for everyone. Therefore, the following applies in all vehicles:

• Smoking is not allowed in the vehicles
• No shoes in the cabin (they stay on the footstep)
• Pets are not allowed in the vehicles due to allergy reasons
