Fire Sealer / Project Manager in Passive Fire Protection, Kalmar

From calculation and planning to completed execution on site

The joint contractor is seeking an experienced fire sealer for our operations in Kalmar. We are looking for you who wants to take overall responsibility for projects and work through the entire process, from calculation and planning to execution, documentation, and finished results.

This is a role for you who enjoys combining practical work with responsibility, structure, and project understanding. You need to be able to calculate jobs, plan efforts, coordinate materials and resources, and be actively involved in the practical execution out in projects.

The joint contractor is one of Sweden's most experienced players in construction joints, fire sealing, and passive fire protection, with establishments in Malmö and Kalmar. We work with property owners, contractors, and the public sector in projects where quality, documentation, and long-term sustainability are crucial.

About the role

As a fire sealer with us, you work with fire sealing as part of our offering in passive fire protection. This includes, among other things, sealing penetrations, joints, and other fire compartmentation solutions in properties, renovations, and construction projects.

You are responsible for:

• planning and structuring assignments from start to finished results
• calculating jobs and preparing calculation and quotation bases
• coordinating materials, resources, and schedules
• performing work in fire sealing and passive fire protection
• working based on fire protection descriptions, drawings, and applicable fire resistance classes such as EI 30, EI 60, and EI 120
• ensuring quality, self-inspections, and documentation throughout the project
• coordinating work with other disciplines such as electrical, plumbing, and ventilation

We are looking for you who can take overall responsibility and independently drive assignments from initial assessment to final delivery.

We are looking for you who

• has experience in fire sealing and preferably broader work in passive fire protection
• has a good understanding of fire-rated systems, materials, and solutions
• is accustomed to reading drawings, fire protection descriptions, and technical documentation
• can plan, calculate, and independently drive projects
• enjoys both practical work and administrative responsibility
• is meticulous, solution-oriented, and responsible
• has a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have

• experience in calculation, quotation work, or project management
• certification in fire sealing and passive fire protection
• experience in fire protection painting and fire insulation
