Atelierista

Tallbacken Preschool is a privately owned facility that since 2007 has offered children aged 1–5 years a safe and inspiring learning environment. The preschool is located in the naturally beautiful Hallerna area of Stenungsund and consists of four age-separated departments. We work based on the Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö 18/25) and are Reggio Emilia-inspired, meaning that children's curiosity, creativity, and hundred languages are at the center.

We are now seeking an engaged atelierista for Tallbacken Preschool

We are now looking for you as an atelierista who wants to help develop our facility together with children and colleagues, where children's curiosity, creativity, and hundred languages are given space to flourish.

As an atelierista with us, you work closely with the children in child groups while also having a central role in developing and shaping the continued pedagogical work. You are responsible for creating inspiring and sustainable learning environments that are both aesthetically appealing and give children the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in various areas.

You contribute with your expertise in aesthetic forms of expression and actively work to make children's learning processes visible through pedagogical documentation. The role also includes mentoring and inspiring colleagues in the project-oriented working method.

In your assignment, you are responsible for:

• Creating and further developing inspiring learning environments at the preschool
• Competence development and mentoring of staff in learning environments, aesthetic forms of expression, and various techniques
• Developing and supporting educators in a project-oriented working method in accordance with the Reggio Emilia philosophy
• Supporting and developing the work with pedagogical documentation

We are looking for you who:

• Have atelierista education
• Have experience with Reggio Emilia-inspired working methods
• Are creative, curious, and attentive in interactions with children and colleagues
• Have good ability to collaborate, mentor, and inspire others
• See documentation as a tool for reflection, learning, and development
• Want to be involved in actively developing the facility, both in child groups and in the work with learning environments, projects, and pedagogical methods
