Förskolan Hästen is a well-established parent cooperative since 1989. The preschool has space for 18 children and is located in a residential area in Trönninge, Halmstad, close to fantastic natural areas. The preschool has close collaboration with guardians, and together we create a preschool where safety, curiosity, a spirit of discovery, and joy characterize the activities. You will be part of a small work team that works together and independently to develop and drive the education forward. We offer you room for your own initiatives and ideas, work in smaller child groups, individually adapted education, scheduled planning time and reflection time with the work team, as well as a wellness allowance.

At Förskolan Hästen, the educators work during the school year 25/26 in an experience-based project; "Discovery Journey", which is documented, evaluated, and analyzed systematically to develop the preschool's working methods and approaches. Based on our prioritized target areas language, creativity, mathematics and movement & health, we work with goal-oriented teaching. The children have influence over the teaching as the educators are attentive to the child group's curiosity, interests, and needs. Through outdoor pedagogy, opportunities are created for the children to develop new abilities, experiences, and knowledge with varied content of activities that promote and lay the foundation for sustainability in the children's physical and mental health.

Now we are looking for a trained childcare worker who wants to help shape everyday life filled with the joy of discovery and safety.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are an engaged and initiative-taking trained childcare worker with a positive attitude who actively contributes to a safe and pleasant work environment and has a solution-oriented approach. We see that our new colleague needs to be self-sufficient in the pedagogical teaching and enjoy taking active responsibility in the work team. You naturally have good knowledge of the preschool's governing documents and are well-versed in, and have experience with, the systematic quality work and its importance for the development of education. You also have experience in creating and developing stimulating and pedagogical learning environments. You are expected to be able to plan, document, and evaluate various activities both individually and together with your colleagues. You have a professional and warm approach towards everyone at the preschool and build good relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and are accustomed to working in digital administrative programs such as PowerPoint, Word, and the preschool app Tyra.

The position is a permanent employment at 75-100% with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Starting date as agreed.
