About the Role

As a senior technical communicator, you take an active and leading role in client assignments. This means you both produce and drive the work forward, often in close collaboration with development and engineering teams.

You will, among other things:

• transform advanced technical information into clear and target audience-adapted documentation
• drive and develop documentation structures, standards, and information architecture
• participate in technical and strategic forums
• take responsibility for processes, certification materials, and regulated documentation
• introduce and support junior colleagues
• contribute expertise in client dialogues and technical decisions

You thrive in new environments and projects and easily build trust with both colleagues and clients.

Basic Skills

We are looking for you who have:

• experience working as a technical communicator or information engineer
• the ability to quickly understand how products, systems, and processes work
• experience reading and interpreting drawings, technical descriptions, and requirement documents
• comfort with industrial environments (machinery, systems, software, or a combination)
• good technical English in speech and writing
• very good ability to write clear, correct, and consistent Swedish
• understanding of the difference between operator, service technician, engineer, and end-user

You also have the ability to break down complex information into:

• logical steps
• the right information level
• the right order

You think in terms of information architecture, not just text, and understand the value of modular information and reuse, regardless of the tool.

Meritorious Experiences

It is especially positive if you have experience with any of the following:

• CMS / CCMS / PLM (e.g., Arbortext, Heretto, Uptime, M‑Files)
• Microsoft Office
• image and illustration work
• basic understanding of XML/DITA
• standards such as S1000D, iSpec, or STE
• Machinery Directive, CE marking, and safety documentation
• regulatory texts
