Then the role of technical communicator could be just right for you.

At Sigma Technology, you will have the opportunity to transition into a new professional role and develop together with experienced colleagues, coaching leaders, and a culture where knowledge sharing is a given. You don't need to have worked as a technical communicator before – what's important is that you are curious, driven, and want to build expertise in the field.

As a junior technical communicator, you will work on assignments where you learn the profession in practice. You work closely with engineers, developers, and specialists to create clear and structured technical information.

Fun, varied, and educational, perfect for you who want to develop a new career path.

You will, among other things:
  • write technical instructions, guides, and user manuals
  • structure and quality-assure information for different target audiences
  • gather information through interviews, workshops, and system testing
  • learn modern documentation tools, standards, and processes
  • contribute to improving user-friendliness and information flows

You will receive great support at the beginning and gradually grow into more advanced tasks.

We are looking for you who:
  • have a strong interest in technology, systems, or products
  • want to change careers or develop in a new direction
  • express yourself well in writing in both Swedish and English
  • are meticulous, analytical, and enjoy structure
  • find it easy to communicate and collaborate
  • are curious and motivated to learn a new professional field

Personal Skills, Qualities, Experience

Meriting but not required:

  • technical post-secondary education (can be shorter education, vocational college, university course)
  • experience from industry, IT, support, service, documentation, or technology-related roles
  • basic familiarity with documentation tools, XML, or Adobe
  • experience with writing in any context (work, education, leisure)

The most important is your drive, your willingness to learn, and your commitment.

We offer

  • a secure start in the professional role with onboarding
  • opportunity to change careers and build a long-term future within technical communication
  • varied assignments in different industries, as you become more experienced
  • competence development through training, certifications, and internal knowledge forums
  • flexible conditions and work-life balance
  • an inclusive culture where we help each other and have fun together

With us, you can grow, develop, and shape a new career, with security and support all the way.
