School Nurse for Södervik School in Upplands Väsby

Södervik School is beautifully located in the midst of nature in the eastern parts of Upplands Väsby municipality. At Södervik School, approximately 470 students in grades 6-9 and 50 adults work.

As a school nurse with us, you have an important role in the school's student health work. You work in close collaboration with students, guardians, educators, and school leadership to promote students' health, learning, and development. With us, you have the opportunity to truly get to know the students and make a difference in their daily lives.

The position is 70%, 3½ days/week.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

· Conduct health visits and vaccinations according to the National Childhood Vaccination Program

· Work health-promoting and preventively in collaboration with other staff

· Be a medically knowledgeable support to school leadership and educators

· Document in the journal system Prorenata according to current guidelines

· Participate in student health meetings and collaborate with external care agencies as needed

· Support students in conversations about health, well-being, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

· Are a licensed nurse, with further education as a specialist in child and youth, district nurse, or school nurse

· Have good collaboration skills and a professional approach

· Have experience working with children and young people

· Are used to working independently and in a structured manner
