As a residential support worker at Fårstickan group home, you will be an incredibly important part of the residents' lives and a source of security in their daily routines. You help create a home where each person gets the opportunity to live as independently and meaningful a life as possible.

Work tasks that are included, for example:

• Provide support in daily routines and personal care
• Create structure, security, and predictability
• Support in social contacts and activities
• Work based on an implementation plan
• Document according to current guidelines

Qualifications

• Care and social services education or equivalent
• Experience working within LSS or similar operations is meritorious
• Experience with low-arousal approach and clarifying pedagogy is meritorious
• Good Swedish in speech and writing

About the Workplace

Fårstickan group home is a small group home with five places in central Falköping that will start up during the summer of 2026.

At Fårstickan, there will be adult individuals belonging to person group 3, which means they live with permanent physical or mental disabilities that entail significant difficulties in daily life and an extensive need for support.

Fårstickan is part of Järstorps Omsorg AB. We are a small family-run company with deep and rooted connections in the Småland care home movement. Roots that go back over a hundred years in time. We have absolutely no ambitions to become a large care provider; relationships and continuity take precedence over expansion. We are the same today as tomorrow.

We are completely convinced that through close and good relationships with each other, we create the best conditions for those we exist for. We do it together!

Järstorps Omsorg currently operates LSS services within personal assistance, group homes, and soon also daily activities. We currently have about 50 colleagues, and our main office is located in Taberg outside Jönköping.
