Instructor/Teacher in Sport Fishing Methods and Professional Guiding

Do you want to combine your passion for sport fishing with inspiring the next generation?

We are looking for you who have great interest and experience in the sport fishing sector and want to work as a teacher/instructor at Sweden's largest sport fishing school.

You should thrive in a dynamic and developmental work environment with young people. You will be involved in teaching sport fishing tourism subjects as well as sport fishing methods.

A large part of the role will be practical in nature as you will, among other things, collaborate with other staff in training elements within sport fishing methods, guiding, and other practical course components. The role also includes participating in fishing trips with students, at various fishing fairs, and having close collaboration with the industry.

You will be part of the work team that works with the school's sport fishing students. Here, you will help develop the work team and the education so that it is always adapted to the industry's demands.

Education/Experience:

You have good knowledge of various sport fishing methods and are interested in outdoor life. We prefer that you have experience in guiding and knowledge of tourism.

You are comfortable leading groups and have experience working with young people.

We prefer that you have extensive experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining boats.

Pedagogical education and experience are advantageous. Experience working in the fishing tourism industry is also advantageous.

We place great importance on your personal qualities, and you need to be creative, driven, and structured. You should have good collaboration skills and see change work as something exciting.

The role is a permanent position, with a probationary period. Start date August 2026

ForshagaAkademin is an independent high school with industry-oriented high school educations in the sports and leisure sector. The school also hosts Sweden's only higher vocational education focused on fishing and hunting guiding. The school's sport fishing educations, which have been conducted for nearly 30 years, are unique and well-known both nationally and internationally.
