Gotland Grönt Centrum is developing and growing, which is why we are now seeking new employees for our team!

Gotland Grönt Centrum AB is an education and development actor within the green industries, providing education for both upper secondary and adult students. We conduct teaching within the natural resource use program with three different specializations, adapted upper secondary school with a focus on forestry, land, and animals, vocational package for animal caretakers within agriculture, and adult education in natural resource use.

In the natural resource use program with a horse specialization, we have a vocational outcome as a horse caretaker within riding or driving.

As a vocational teacher in the horse specialization of the natural resource use program, you will teach subjects related to the horse specialization. You will be responsible for coordinating the specialization and, together with colleagues, develop the education with the student at the center.

Mentorship is included in the position.

JOB DUTIES

The position includes, among other things:

• Coordinator for the horse specialization. Collaborate with the work team and develop the specialization.
• Teach within vocational horse subjects. Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching within vocational horse subjects based on current subject plans.
• Adapt the teaching to each student's needs and conditions.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment and good relationships that promote student learning and independence.
• Collaborate with the industry. Organize and coordinate work-based learning placements.
• Mentorship for students.

QUALIFICATIONS

We see that you as an applicant have:

• Work experience within the profession, preferably as a vocational horse teacher or riding instructor education level 3.
• Good initiative-taking ability and understand how collaboration improves operations. Good at building relationships.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Want to develop teaching and the natural resource use program with a horse specialization together with colleagues.
• You are loyal, positive, organized, flexible, humble, and responsible person who is good at collaborating with others.
• Previous experience within the profession is advantageous. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and references. A B driver's license is required, preferably B96 or BE.

Advantageous:

• Higher studies in horses, riding instructor education level 3.
• Vocational teacher certification is advantageous, but not required.
• B driver's license required.
• Practical work experience
• Pedagogical experience in leading youth.
• Experience in work supervision

Start date: As soon as possible by agreement.

Employment rate: 60%, or by agreement

Employment type: Permanent employment with probationary period
