Accounting Economist with International Experience – Evelent SW AB, Stockholm

Evelent SW AB is a rapidly growing e-commerce company in mobile spare parts, accessories, and consumer electronics. We are integrated with marketplaces such as CDON, Fyndiq, and Amazon – both in Sweden and internationally – and are now looking for a qualified accounting economist who wants to take responsibility for our financial structure.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for bookkeeping of several thousand transactions per month
• 
  
• Handle ongoing accounting, monthly and annual closing
• 
  
• Independently manage and finalize VAT and tax declarations
• 
  
• Handle Swedish VAT, EU VAT, customs, and import/export within and outside EU OSS Requirements
• 
  
• Book revenues and costs from external marketplaces (CDON, Amazon, Fyndiq, etc.)
• 
  
• Improve and streamline financial processes and system integrations
• 
  
• Function as the financial contact person internally and externally

Qualifications:

• At least 1.5 years of experience as an accounting economist
• 
  
• Documented knowledge of EU export/import, VAT, and taxes
• 
  
• Very good familiarity with Fortnox or similar systems
• 
  
• Advanced skills in Excel
• 
  
• Experience working entirely digitally – no paperwork
• 
  
• Fluent in Swedish and English in speech and writing
• 
  
• Structure, accuracy, and independence in work
• 
  
• Ability to finalize declarations and take responsibility as a signatory/financial manager
