Restaurant Assistant

In the role of a restaurant assistant, you are responsible for serving, portioning food, clearing dishes, washing up, and cleaning. You may also have simpler tasks in the kitchen, such as preparing and handling food, for example, cleaning and rinsing. Sometimes you may prepare simpler dishes, make sandwiches, salads, restock supplies, handle cash register duties. Delivery of food to our elderly care homes may also occur. As well as providing a professional and friendly approach to our guests. You contribute to creating a pleasant and welcoming environment

The position involves 25 hours per week, but may be extended

Some weekend duties may occur

The start date for the position is May 26

Your Profile

As a person, you are cheerful, meticulous, service-minded, and enjoy selling. You can work both independently and in a team. You enjoy working with people and thrive in a restaurant environment and providing service to both guests and colleagues

Qualifications:

• Good service sense and responsibility
• Ability to work at a high pace
• Collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently

Requirements

• You speak and read Swedish fluently without hindrance
• You are at least 20 years old as we serve alcohol and you may serve as the responsible server (according to Alcohol Law 2010:1622 Chapter 8. Serving of alcoholic beverages and alcohol-like preparations Section 18 Personnel).
• Class B driver's license
• Swedish citizen
• You must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record

Merits

• Experience from the restaurant industry
• Upper secondary school Restaurant and Food Program

Other

• If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also be able to prove that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
• Employment can only occur after verification of work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance
