Machine Operator in Cutting Machine - Fine Plasma/Gas

We work within three different customer segments: repair/maintenance, contract manufacturing, and construction metalwork.

We have invested in a new cutting machine that was installed in 2022.

We have broad professional expertise in sheet metal processing and machining. Our focus is on small batch production such as prototypes and smaller series sizes. We work with commonly used steel grades, stainless steel, and aluminum.

We are currently certified in ISO9001, ISO 3834-2, and EN ISO 1090-1

Experience working independently with sheet cutting on CNC-controlled cutting machines (laser and/or plasma/gas) is advantageous but not necessary.

Job Description - Main Tasks:

- Based on needs (run plan) perform daily detailed planning in the cutting machine.

- Based on manufacturing orders, drawings, and with the help of nesting programs and cutting files, create run programs for the controlled cutting machine.

- Monitor/operate CNC cutting machines.

- Handle sheet metal/parts with forklifts and overhead cranes/swing cranes.

- Inventory sheet metal stock.

- Order gas.

- Request purchase of consumable materials for the cutting machine.

Your Qualifications:

Experience with welding/operation of cutting machines for sheet metal in various types of materials, primarily black material.
