We are seeking a dedicated and competent occupational therapist to join our team at Vega Rehab in Fristad, a unit within Vårdval Rehab in the Västra Götaland region. As an occupational therapist, you will play a crucial role in promoting rehabilitation and contributing to improving the quality of life for our patients.

Role Summary

In the role of occupational therapist, you will be a key person in our team, where you will contribute to designing and implementing rehabilitation programs for our patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and individualized care plan for each individual. Vega Rehab shares premises with Vega Primary Health Care Center and Child Health Center in Fristad, with opportunities for interprofessional collaboration around shared patients.

Work Responsibilities

• Assess patients' rehabilitation needs and design appropriate treatment plans.
• Perform individual treatments as well as group treatments to improve function, movement, and independence in patients.
• Work in teams to monitor and evaluate progress and adjust treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Provide advice and education to patients and their families about rehabilitation and managing various conditions.

Qualifications

• Licensed occupational therapist with experience working at the primary care level.
• Ability to work both independently and in team environments.
• We highly value interpersonal and communication skills to enable good collaboration with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
