Pharmacist MWI Animal Health

Overall description of the position, purpose:

The prerequisite for effective production and drug sales at MWI Animal Health is that the pharmacy operates rationally and cost-effectively. In the role as a licensed pharmacist (prescriptionist or pharmacist) at MWI Animal Health, you are expected to work with a customer focus to contribute to better health for our customers and act as an ambassador for the entire MWI Animal Health to promote the pharmacy's success. As a pharmacist at MWI Animal Health, you have overall responsibility for:

• interacting with customers in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• staying updated on external changes related to professional and drug issues
• working towards the unit's set goals
• proposing necessary actions in case of deviations

Main duties:

• Ensuring customer needs and offering the customer a solution
• Receiving and handling requisitions/prescriptions from webshop/phone/other e-solutions
• Dispensing medications on requisition and prescriptions to the pharmacy's customers
• Performing safe pharmaceutical control and assessment
• Answering drug-related questions via phone/email
• Assessing self-care and/or referring to healthcare
• Providing advice on medication use based on customer needs
• Developing in customer dialogue
• Supporting colleagues in more complex pharmaceutical issues
• Receiving complaints and customer feedback and registering them
• Registering dispensing errors and deviations
• Staying updated on new medications
• Staying updated on internal campaigns
• Supporting the company's ISO project and quality certification by working in accordance with these
• Actively contributing ideas and initiatives to continuously improve work methods

Other

Licensed pharmacist or licensed prescriptionist (requirement for license from the National Board of Health and Welfare). Fluent Swedish in writing and speech. Extended language skills in English and other Nordic languages are advantageous. Previous experience from a veterinary pharmacy is also advantageous. Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to the role by the nearest manager.
