Licensed Occupational Therapist

Aktivera Rehab in Sollentuna is now seeking a licensed occupational therapist for a permanent position. You must hold Swedish licensure.

We provide primary care rehabilitation under the Region. We have 25 employees: occupational therapists, physiotherapists, chiropractors, dietitians, and receptionists who collaborate to ensure patients receive the absolute best care. We work multimodally around the patient and see this as a strength in our operations and in your work. Therefore, it is important that you can collaborate with other colleagues across all professional groups.

Your duties will consist of home rehabilitation and/or clinic work depending on competence and interest.

In home rehab, this includes, for example, ADL assessments, assistive device assessments, prescription and testing in the patient's home. Visits to Sodexo, memory assessments, housing adaptations, and cognitive aids. Advice and support on self-care.

At the clinic, there is the opportunity to work with work capacity assessments, lymph therapy, hand rehabilitation, daily balance, and group activities.

In home rehab, you work together with a physiotherapist and dietitian, going on both team visits and individual visits. You work and structure your day together. The tasks are varied, which requires that you are organized, flexible, independent, and can have an overview of the patient's situation and prioritize your efforts accordingly. Since we work in patients' homes, it is important that you can handle being where there are pets and that you are not sensitive to, among other things, smoke odors.

We have continuous collaboration with external care providers in our area regarding both our home rehab and clinic patients.

The clinic is located right by the E4 highway, with free staff parking and public transport nearby. We are in newly built, fresh premises.
