Vård och Omsorgsbolaget (VOOB) AB is now seeking experienced managers and leaders in Swedish healthcare and social services who want to contribute to this work by participating in our national mentorship network.
The assignment involves supporting both the internationally educated nurses that VOOB introduces to Swedish healthcare, and the organizations that receive them. As a mentor, you also serve as a sounding board and support for the local managers leading the integration work in their organizations.

Vård och Omsorgsbolaget (VOOB) AB runs a long-term initiative for international recruitment, training, and professional integration of nurses from India into Swedish healthcare and social services. VOOB works in close collaboration with municipalities, regions, and private and foundation-driven healthcare facilities to build a sustainable model for future skills supply in Swedish health and medical care.
Content of the Assignment
As a mentor and coach within VOOB's integration program, you contribute to:
- Supporting internationally educated nurses in their professional and cultural introduction to Swedish healthcare
- Being a professional support for managers and employees in receiving organizations
- Contributing to safety, structure, and learning in the local integration work
- Sharing experiences of leadership, collaboration, and work environment within Swedish health and medical care
The assignment is conducted entirely digitally and remotely, making it possible to participate regardless of geographic location.
We are looking for you who are or have been:
- Health and Medical Care Director, HR Director, or Department Manager/Operations Manager within inpatient care or primary care in regional operations or a similar role at a private or foundation-driven healthcare provider,
- Unit Manager, Area Manager, or Operations Manager within municipal health and medical care or similar operations in private or foundation-driven settings,
- HR Manager or HR Strategist with responsibility for healthcare and social services personnel in municipal or regional operations, or similar responsibility at a private or foundation-driven actor,
- Social Care Manager, Medically Responsible Nurse (MAS), or Manager within municipal health and medical care administration,
- or another position with equivalent experience of leadership in healthcare and social services.
- You have several years of experience in strategic leadership within the public sector or equivalent operations, understanding of Swedish administrative culture, and a desire to contribute to development and inclusion in the Swedish healthcare sector.
