Skolia is seeking a school doctor for part-time work, approximately 20-40%

We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with specialist competence in school health care, general medicine, child and adolescent psychiatry, or child and adolescent medicine

Job Description (tasks):

As a school doctor, you have an important role in the Student Health Service's health promotion and preventive work. From an individual perspective, you work to remove obstacles to each student's learning and development. You work together with the school nurse at each school and have appointments at the schools scheduled by the school nurse. The overall goal of your assignment is to contribute to and create a good learning environment for students' knowledge and social development.

The work includes typical tasks such as medical assessments, as well as assessments for potential investigations. Examples of this include growth-related issues, development-related questions, school difficulties, neuropsychiatric issues, vaccination assessments, and back checks.

We want you to contribute with:

Medical expertise in interdisciplinary discussions and assessments.

Consultation and advice to staff and school management.

Contact and collaboration with external actors such as BUP, primary care, inpatient care, and social services.

Competence development and development work at various levels within the organization.

We are looking for you(desired qualifications and requirements for the position):

Qualifications: licensed physician with completed specialist competence in either school health care, specialist in general medicine, child and adolescent psychiatry, or child and adolescent medicine.

You show interest and understanding for others. Listen, consult others, and communicate proactively. You build good relationships with students and staff. Build effective contact networks within and outside the organization.

You set high standards for quality and quantity and work in a systematic and reliable manner, achieving your goals.

You are well-versed in web-based documentation technology. We work in the Prorenata journal system.

You have a driver's license (category B).

Skolia currently serves 24,000 students both as a care provider and on staffing.

Within the Student Health Service's medical services, there are 9 school nurses and 4 school doctors, as well as an operations manager/MLA.
