Leisure-time pedagogue for a small school in Molkom

We are looking for a leisure-time pedagogue for Backa Independent School!

We are looking for a trained and experienced leisure-time pedagogue who will also assist teachers in the lower primary years. The position is full-time and permanent, with a probationary period applied. Start date is August 10, 2026.

About you

You are a certified leisure-time pedagogue with several years of experience.

You believe in students' competence and want to work to support students' creativity and active, independent learning.

You have experience working with students in need of special support, students with neurodevelopmental conditions, and students with externalizing behavior.

You always meet students in a respectful and low-affect manner.

You preferably have competence and experience working with sign support.

You love working with outdoor pedagogy, gardening, and cultivation.

You strongly oppose all forms of discrimination and want to work inclusively and norm-creatively.

You share the association's vision, values, and goals.

You are responsible, solution-focused, and flexible.

You have an open mind and are interested in working together with your colleagues to develop the operations.

About the tasks

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement pedagogical activities with students during leisure-time.

Be responsible for students' safety and care during leisure-time.

Communication and collaboration with guardians.

Assist teachers in the lower primary years with teaching. The days vary and it may involve, for example, providing support to individual students, managing conflicts, supporting teaching in whole class, or conducting teaching with a smaller group according to the teacher's planning.

Break supervision and meal supervision.
