At PROTOS, we develop foods that are good for both people and the environment. For us, it is a given that food should taste good, be nutritious, and produced with as little resource impact as possible.

We have deepened our work in local and sustainable meat production. Additionally, we are developing a completely new range of protein-rich, plant-based foods.

We believe in both animal and plant-based proteins – the best of both worlds.

In Visby on Gotland, we have our large and modern facility for food production. Here, we process and develop all our foods. Thanks to the short distances on Gotland and close contact with farmers on the island, we have full control over all steps in food production, from farm to table.

We work long-term with development, quality, and sustainability. We also have an office in Solna and a smaller slaughterhouse in Sörby, giving us proximity to all our customers and consumers – and not least – many farmers we have started collaborating with in the Mälardalen region to work locally and regionally with various food ingredients.

Therefore, we believe that in our company, we have successfully combined the best of both worlds: a solid and high-quality operation on Gotland and at the same time proximity to Sweden's largest market with many opportunities for influences, ideas, and collaborations.

We are looking for you who have solid experience and knowledge of large-scale kitchens. It is important to us that you are a team player and enjoy collaborating; you must be able to work independently and take directives, as we are a smaller team in our kitchen.

The work is mostly during daytime hours – but you will also occasionally be involved in our catering operations.

The position is primarily a summer employment – but if you are the right person, there are great chances for extension (permanent employment).
