About the Position

Linnéa's Swimming School has been providing swimming instruction for young children aged 3 months to 10 years since 1993. We work based on an organized and knowledge-based curriculum where water safety runs as a common thread. Our goal is to be at the forefront of swimming instruction for children.

We are now seeking swimming instructors for hourly employment. This position suits you who want a long-term side job alongside other activities, such as studies or other work.

About the Work

As a swimming instructor with us, you teach children and their families in our operations in Uppsala. You work with the same groups repeatedly, which creates security and continuity for both the children and you as an instructor.

The work involves:

• leading swimming instruction for young children of various ages
• meeting and guiding parents in a secure and pedagogical manner
• ensuring the instruction maintains high quality
• contributing to a warm, professional, and service-oriented experience for our swimming families

Employment Form and Working Hours

This is an hourly employment with a fixed recurring schedule each week. The schedule is set termly.

A work shift is usually about 3.5 hours at a time. The work is primarily scheduled for evenings and weekends during the terms, but daytime may also occur based on operational needs.

We provide the training, but since it takes time to get comfortable, we want you to be able to work for at least 1 year, preferably longer.

This is therefore not a summer job.

Advantageous

It is advantageous if you have experience in or are studying:

• childcare
• pedagogy
• psychology
• healthcare professions
• swimming instruction or other leadership experience
