Teacher in Math/Science/Swedish, grades 4 & 5

Leteboskolan is located in the countryside outside Horred in Marks municipality. It is beautifully situated by forest and lake, and we try to encourage staff and students to take advantage of the nature in the area.

Leteboskolan is characterized by good relationships, both among staff and students. We are skilled at meeting students with different types of needs and challenges. There is continuity in both staff and leadership at the school. This ensures long-term commitment in various improvement areas.

Both staff and guardians choose the school because of its size and the climate that exists here. The staff gathers every morning and starts the day together with a moment together. We have a short devotion, and then get the chance to talk with each other about the last things that need to be fixed before the students arrive.

We are looking for a certified teacher for work with teaching in mathematics, science, for grades 4 and 5, and possibly Swedish.

The position corresponds to 80-100%, it includes mentorship.

Permanent employment, start date: 2026-08-12 or as agreed.

As an educator, you work together in a team close to your colleagues at the school, student health, and resource teachers.

We believe that you have the ability to work independently but also in collaboration with colleagues, which we see as essential for developing high quality in students' education. As an educator, you also have a good ability to create and maintain relationships primarily with students and colleagues but also with their guardians.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents and have the ability to translate theory into practice. You have good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing.

You have openness towards meeting students and adults with different backgrounds and conditions. You are structured and convey this to the students. You are adaptable and find it easy to collaborate. You are skilled at communicating with both students and adults and are used to adapting your communication. You have a good view of students and the ability to build trusting relationships.
