Teacher in English at Leteboskolan grades 4-9

Leteboskolan is located in the countryside outside Horred in Marks municipality. It is beautifully situated by forest and lake, and we encourage staff and students to take advantage of the nature in the area.

Leteboskolan is characterized by good relationships, both among staff and students. We are skilled at meeting students with different types of needs and challenges. There is continuity in both staff and leadership at the school. This ensures long-term development in various improvement areas.

Both staff and guardians choose the school because of its size and the climate here. The staff gathers every morning and starts the day together with a moment of togetherness. We have a short devotion, and then get the chance to talk with each other about the last things that need to be fixed before the students arrive.

We are looking for a licensed teacher for work with teaching in English, for classes 4-9.

The position corresponds to approximately 65%, including mentorship for a class. Possibly, the position can be combined with other teaching.

Permanent employment, start date: 2026-08-12 As agreed.

As a teacher, you work together in a team close to your colleagues at the school, student health services, and resource teachers.

We believe you have the ability to work independently but also see collaboration with colleagues as essential to develop high quality in students' education. As a teacher, you also have a good ability to create and maintain relationships primarily with students and colleagues but also their guardians.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents and have the ability to translate theory into practice. You have good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing.

You have an openness to meeting students and adults with different backgrounds and conditions. You are adaptable and find it easy to collaborate.
