Physiotherapist sought for Hammarbygruppen

Hammarbygruppen offers short-term accommodation for people under and over 65 years old, as well as permanent accommodation for people with dementia under and over 65 years old.

At the short-term accommodation, nursing care with support from SoL is offered to patient groups who need the opportunity to recover after illness or injury, as well as other interventions.

At our permanent places, we offer accommodation for people with a dementia diagnosis. Together, we create a safe and stable living environment and adequate care for all stages of life for those with dementia.

Hammarbyslott consists of 48 apartments operated in a home-like environment close to nature. The castle has preserved the beautiful architecture with high ceilings combined with modern standards and retained large light influx and generous open spaces for socializing.

Examples of impairments (Alzheimer's, frontotemporal dementia, multi-infarct dementia, and alcohol-related dementia).

Hammarbyslott also has access to a day center.

Job Duties

The job duties include planning various activities/rehabilitation based on residents' resources and weaknesses and leading the activities - individually and in groups.

It is significant if you have previous experience in assessing and mapping activity ability from a cognitive perspective, enjoy leading various group activities such as gymnastics, cooking, and have an aptitude for inspiring groups. There is ongoing development work in the operation, and our hope is that you want to be part of it together with us.

The operation aims to, through an activating and function-maintaining working method, preserve and strengthen the target group's functions.

As a physiotherapist, you have a special responsibility for assessing the need for activation ability and cognitive abilities, formulating goals, and establishing plans for support and training based on the individual's conditions. The work also includes collaboration with activity coaches, residents, staff, and relatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked in a similar operation.

If you have taken a dementia approach training, it is an advantage.
