At Mälargården, we have a flat organization which gives us great freedom and influence. We can manage our own work. We work in functional premises and have a well-equipped gym. Above all, you will meet motivated patients who come to Mälargården for 2-3 weeks of intensive rehabilitation. We focus on our patients and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy by minimizing administration to what is necessary to maintain good and safe care. You also avoid prescription responsibility, as it is not part of our mission.

Specialized planned rehabilitation:

Mälargården Rehab Center in Sigtuna, has successfully offered tailored rehabilitation for different diagnostic groups since the early 1970s. Today, we conduct planned specialized rehabilitation for patients affected by neurological illness or injury, as well as for patients who have completed their cancer treatment.

Mälargården has over the years built a very good reputation. This is confirmed daily by satisfied patients, referrers, and clients.

We admit patients for inpatient rehabilitation but also day rehabilitation patients. The operations run Monday to Friday.

Agreements with county councils:

We have agreements with Stockholm County Council, as well as with other county councils and various municipalities.

Non-profit organization:

The Mälargården Rehab Center Foundation is a politically and religiously independent foundation. Our operations are ideologically driven and operate without profit motive. Any potential profit is reinvested in the operations.

Qualifications

You have experience in neurological rehabilitation, can work independently but have a good ability to collaborate. You have experience in leading groups, such as morning exercises and water aerobics.

You are modest, engaged, attentive, communicative, and have a good approach. Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing as well as good computer skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Mälargården has conducted planned specialized rehabilitation on behalf of Stockholm County Council for many years.
