ICA Supermarket Spara is a family-owned store in central Uddevalla with around 50 employees. We are open every day from 06:00–23:00 and continuously work to offer our customers the best possible service, an attractive product range, and a fresh store with well-stocked shelves.

We are now looking for summer job employees to work with us during the summer when our regular staff are on vacation.

About the position

As a store employee with us, you will primarily work with restocking goods, cashier duties, and providing our customers with the best possible service. The work also includes various tasks in the store's daily operations and whatever is needed for the day.

Your responsibilities include, among others:

• Cashier service

• Restocking and fronting products in the store

• Keeping shelves and departments well-stocked, tidy, and sales-friendly

• Providing our customers with friendly service and the best possible experience

Working with us involves a fast pace and many heavy lifts, which requires both strength and endurance. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring the store is always well-stocked, fresh, and inviting for our customers.

The customer is the most important person in our store, and our goal is to always provide the best possible service.

About you

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, quick, and efficient – and who is not afraid of physical work.

You are an active and positive person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working where no two days are the same.

You take responsibility, can take your own initiatives, and find it easy to collaborate with others. You contribute to a good atmosphere in the workgroup and enjoy working in a team.

We prefer that you:

• Are at least 18 years old

• Have a good sense of service and always strive to satisfy the customer

• Are curious and responsible

• Have an interest in food and the store's product range

Working hours

Working hours are scheduled from early morning, sometimes starting at 05:00, to daytime, evenings, weekends, holidays, and evenings – essentially when our customers visit us.
