About the Position:
As a meat grinder operator at Eriksons Chark, you are responsible for the heart of the factory!
You will work in our production with the responsibility of handling and operating our meat grinder. It requires great craftsmanship and a feel for raw materials when making the perfect sausage mixture.
There are many factors at play, and some critical moments involve temperature, structure, and the order in which we add the raw materials. The work involves following recipes, routines, and hygiene requirements to ensure consistent quality in our products.
The working hours are early, so we are looking for you who is a morning person and enjoys starting the day early.
Currently, we produce over 25 different types of sausages and products in the meat grinder.
Your Main Responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring the meat grinder in production
- Preparation and processing of raw materials according to recipes and production plans
- Quality control to ensure products meet high standards for taste, consistency, and hygiene.
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Collaboration with other parts of production
Your Qualifications:
- We see that you have experience from charcuterie, food production, or similar work as meritorious, but the right attitude and willingness to learn are at least as important.
- You have knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP
- You have good technical understanding and are used to working with machines.
- You are meticulous, responsible, quality-conscious, and proud of what you create.
- You are a calm person who can maintain focus when the pace increases
About the Company:
Eriksons Chark is a prestigious charcuterie that has been producing sausages and charcuterie from Swedish meat with a focus on high quality for over 100 years. The company is owned and operated by the 4th generation Erikson, and we currently have 24 employees.
Directly adjacent to the factory is our small factory shop. There, we sell our entire range of charcuterie and Swedish meat, both over a manual counter and consumer-packaged.
The factory and shop are still located in the same place as when the company was started over 100 years ago, in the heart of Nossebro.
