Subconsultant Energy Coordinator New Construction/Renovation Stockholm

We are looking for a senior energy coordinator for a longer assignment in Stockholm. The role is aimed at you who currently work as an energy engineer, energy consultant, or installation specialist in building and property projects and want to work strategically with energy issues throughout the construction process.

About the assignment

As an energy coordinator, you are responsible for ensuring that energy requirements and energy goals are met in new construction and renovation projects. The role includes work in all project phases – from early analyses and design to production, verification, and handover to management.

You serve as a specialist and advisor in energy issues towards project management, contractors, and technical specialists.

Main tasks

• Coordinate energy issues in new construction and renovation projects
• Support project managers in energy technical questions and energy calculations
• Review design documents from an energy perspective
• Ensure that energy requirements are met according to laws and technical guidelines
• Participate in testing, inspections, and contractor follow-ups
• Work with energy follow-up and verification of energy performance
• Ensure correct handover from project to operation and management organization

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• Relevant university education in energy, installation, or property technology
• At least 10 years of experience in energy, operation, or technical management in the property industry
• Experience with energy optimization, energy calculations, and energy verification
• Good knowledge in HVAC, electrical, control and monitoring systems, and building envelope
• Experience with design, installation coordination, or technical project management
• Experience with energy calculation tools, for example IDA ICE or equivalent
• Understanding of LCC calculations and technical/economic analysis
• Driver's license B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English

Assignment information

• Start: June 4, 2026
• Scope: approximately 100 %
• Assignment length: 12 months with possibility of extension
• Location: Stockholm (partial possibility for remote work)
