Production Technician for PKS Mekaniska AB

About the Role

As a production technician, you will become a key person in our ongoing development. You will work practically in production and drive projects that increase efficiency, quality, and the level of automation. The role involves close collaboration with operators, supervisors, management, customers, and suppliers.

Your Responsibilities

· Optimize and develop processes for milling (3-, 4-, and 5-axis), turning, and automation.

· Create and standardize CAM programs, tool libraries, fixtures, and setup sheets.

· Participate in investments in new machines and automation – from requirement specification to commissioning.

· Contribute to the introduction of new components and ensure a stable and efficient process from the start.

· Simplify and improve measurement processes through measurement fixtures, routines, and training.

· Support and train operators in CAM/CAD and measurement techniques.

· Participate in customer discussions regarding manufacturing methods and technical solutions.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a background in CNC machining, production technology, or mechanical engineering who wants to take the next step in their development. You have experience with CAM programming (preferably E-SPRIT) and CAD (SolidWorks). Knowledge in automation, CMM measurement, and ERP systems (Monitor G5) is advantageous.

To succeed in the role, you need to be proactive, structured, and enjoy driving projects forward. You are someone who likes to improve and simplify processes and has the ability to explain and teach others.
