Extra staff and summer substitutes for residential care in social psychiatry

We are now seeking extra staff and summer substitutes for our residential care facilities in Söråker. Here, we work closely with our residents and together create a safe, structured, and meaningful daily life.

We are looking for you who can start immediately or work during the summer, with the possibility of continued employment.

About our operations

VUO operates Sörgården and Tallgården's development residence in Söråker. The facilities are centrally located and relatively close to each other, offering specialized housing for individuals with mental disabilities.

• Sörgården has 15 places for adult women and men
• Tallgården has 12 places for adult men

The residents have their own apartments and share common spaces for meals, activities, and social interaction.

About the role

As care staff, you work closely with the residents and are an important support in their daily lives. The work includes, among other things:

• Supporting and motivating in daily activities
• Contributing to structure, routines, and safety
• Participating in and planning social and physical activities
• Being a safe and present support in daily life
• Documenting according to current guidelines
• Performing certain health and medical care tasks through delegation
• Collaborating with colleagues and other stakeholders regarding the residents

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are empathetic, attentive, and secure in interactions with people.

It is advantageous if you:

• Are trained as a nursing assistant, treatment assistant, or have similar experience
• Have experience working in care, social services, or social psychiatry
• Are familiar with delegated health and medical care tasks

You need to be able to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing and be comfortable with documentation.
