Care Staff for Bruksgården HVB - Summer Substitutes/Hourly Substitutes

We are now seeking extra staff and summer substitutes for Bruksgården HVB, located a few miles northwest of Sundsvall. With forest and lake right next to the facility, there are good opportunities to create an active and meaningful daily life together with the residents.

There is an opportunity to start immediately, or work during the summer, with a chance for continued employment.

About Bruksgården

Bruksgården is an HVB – home for care or residence – for men and women from age 21 with various mental disabilities. The residents have their own rooms and share common areas for meals, activities, and social interaction.

About the Role

As care staff, you work closely with the residents and are an important support in their daily lives. The work includes, among other things:

• Motivating and supporting in daily activities
• Contributing to structure, routines, and security in everyday life
• Planning and participating in physical and social activities
• Being a safe and stable support in daily life
• Documenting according to current guidelines
• Performing certain health and medical care tasks through delegation
• Collaborating with colleagues, coordinators/managers, and external actors.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are empathetic, attentive, and confident in meeting people.

We prefer that you:

• Are trained as a nursing assistant, treatment assistant, or have similar experience
• Have experience with delegated health and medical care tasks (meritorious)
• Have post-secondary education in social work or care (meritorious)
• Master Swedish in speech and writing and are comfortable with documentation
• Are stable, flexible, and can work both independently and in a team
