We at AK FINESS are now seeking a business manager for our home care services in Örebro.
About the role
As a business manager, you lead the work at the unit with responsibility for daily operations and business planning. You provide employees with the best conditions to contribute to good and quality care.
You will have access to a ready-made concept based on well-established quality work and systematic work environment efforts, as well as quality, finance, marketing, and HR departments.
You are part of a competent and engaged management team where you receive support and guidance to succeed in your role
Main tasks
- Responsibility for daily operational activities, personnel, and scheduling
- Conduct systematic quality and business development
- Ensure that agreements, assignments, and regulations are followed
- Maintain ongoing contact with customers, employees, and relatives
- Finance and budget related to the business
- Ensure occupancy based on budget and set goals
- Collaborate with support functions with our partners.
Who are you?
You are a confident leader with previous experience working with the target group. As a leader, you are communicative, trustworthy, and put the customer at the center.
To succeed in the role, you are results-oriented and thrive in work that requires flexibility and is carried out in constant change. You apply a coaching, solution-focused approach and enjoy working with and towards set goals. Additionally, you have an understanding and knowledge of finance and can follow up and analyze the business's results.

Qualifications
- Higher education
- Education in social law of at least 7.5 credits (if not educated as a social worker)
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position within home care services/elderly care.
- Experience with budget work and financial analysis
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
- Knowledge of English, in both speech and writing.
- B driver's license
Meritorious if you additionally have
- Social worker, nurse, or behavioral scientist is meritorious
- Experience from work in private care operations
- Experience leading businesses in development and change
- Worked in a larger organization and/or company in strong growth
