Service Technician (Field) Installation & Service of Service Robots | Malmö

Do you enjoy technology, problem-solving, and working practically at customer sites?

ROBIQ is now establishing operations in Malmö and the surrounding area and is seeking a service technician who wants to work with installation, service, and development of robot solutions in real-world environments.

ROBIQ works with robot solutions for businesses – including cleaning robots and serving robots for shops, hotels, properties, and other large environments.

This is a practical and independent role where you work with installation, service, and technical support of robots at customer sites. You will be an important part in making the technology work in reality.

About the Role

As a service technician at ROBIQ, you are responsible for ensuring that the robots are installed, function, and are used correctly at the customer's site.

You work both practically on-site and digitally via the robots' apps and administration systems. A large part of your working time is spent at customer sites.

You will also be part of building up ROBIQ's new office in Malmö and an important piece of the puzzle in the company's continued development.

Work Tasks

In this role, you will among other things:

• Install robots at customer sites
• Map premises and configure the robots' operation
• Test and optimize the robots' workflows
• Train the customer's staff in use and maintenance
• Work with technical support via phone, video, and remote connections
• Troubleshoot in the robots' systems and apps
• Perform service and minor repairs
• Replace wear parts and components
• Follow up on installations and ensure that the robots function optimally

You will also contribute with technical advice regarding which robot solution is suitable for different types of environments.

Work Area

Your base is Malmö where ROBIQ is establishing operations.

The work involves travel to customers in southern Sweden, primarily within Skåne, Blekinge, Småland, Halland, and parts of Västra Götaland. The work is largely conducted at customer sites in the region.

Most assignments involve day trips, but overnight stays may occur for longer assignments.

A B driver's license is required.

Your Background

We are seeking you who have a technical interest and experience with practical technical work.

You may for example have worked as:

• Service technician
• Field technician
• Installation technician
• Machinery technician
• Technical support technician

The most important thing is that you are technically curious and enjoy understanding how machines and systems work.

Requirements

• Experience with technical service or installation work
• Experience working independently in the field
• B driver's license
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
• Good English in speech and writing
