Special Educator/Special Education Teacher with Focus on Mathematics

Pilträdsskolan is a charter school with approximately 300 students that emphasizes knowledge, safety, and the unique value of each student. The school was founded in 1994 and provides education from preschool to grade 9, as well as after-school activities. We have 14-24 students in each class. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets preschool for children aged 1-5. The governing body is Stiftelsen Källan in Västerås. The school is located in Vallby and is a multicultural school.

You have great commitment, joy, and a desire to give children a meaningful school day where they can succeed. You should also have good knowledge of students in need of special support. We see a need to expand student health services with a special educator or special education teacher with knowledge in the mathematics/science area. A special education teacher for language, reading, and writing difficulties is already part of our student health team and will complement the person we are seeking.

You are responsible, independent, take your own initiatives, and have good collaboration skills. We see personal development as well as continuous organizational development as a natural part of Pilträdsskolan.
