Cashier and Café Assistant

What does the job involve?

As a cashier and café assistant, you will have varied tasks, where flexibility is key. Your main responsibilities include:

• Handling the cash register and payments: Taking orders and managing both card and cash payments.
• Preparing and serving food and drinks: Preparing simple dishes like sandwiches and salads, and serving coffee and other beverages.
• Creating a pleasant environment: You keep the café clean and well-organized through cleaning, dishwashing, and restocking supplies.
• Responsible for ordering goods: Ordering goods, receiving deliveries, restocking in the store, and verifying delivery contents.
• Assisting in the kitchen: Helping with simple kitchen tasks when needed, making the job varied.

Who are we looking for?

• Is cheerful and driven, with experience from café and cashier work
• Is flexible and enjoys varied tasks
• Has good communication skills and is clear in interactions with both colleagues and customers
• Is punctual, thorough, and stress-resistant in their work

Meritorious: Previous experience in café work is a big plus, but not a requirement.

Scope and start date

The position is 80% full-time with the possibility of extra shifts. Start date is immediate or as agreed. We welcome all applicants and are open to adapting the role based on your circumstances.
