Reception Manager for Kvikkjokk Mountain Station Summer Season 2026

Kvikkjokk is located deep in the Lapland mountain world - at the end of the road. Those seeking the beauty of nature should visit Kvikkjokk. Adjacent to Kvikkjokk are the two large national parks Padjelanta and Sarek, which together with Stora Sjöfallet also constitute the Laponia World Heritage Site established in 1995 by UNESCO.

There are 60 beds with single to multi-bed rooms in two buildings. The timbered building from 1928 features cozy rooms and common areas with views of the Sarek Mountains. We offer not only a restaurant but also a café and bar, as well as a small shop.

Kvikkjokk is a small village, and it is 12 miles to Jokkmokk, the nearest community. Our guests seek nature experiences, and many embark on longer or shorter hikes.

We are looking for a reception manager who wants to work with us during the summer season from mid-June to the end of September

In addition to the usual reception duties such as check-in and check-out, telephone service, and cash handling, you will lead the reception team, manage bookings, and handle administrative tasks.

We see you as a cheerful and positive person who can juggle many tasks, enjoys a fast pace, has a strong service mindset, and is accustomed to taking responsibility. You have a genuine interest in quality and service with "that little extra" and always keep the guest in focus. You work well both independently and in a team, and we value that you have knowledge of one or more booking systems/cash systems; we use HotSoft and Trivec. We assume you can express yourself well in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English; additional languages are advantageous. We are a small team that supports each other

Working at a mountain station means that the staff lives, works, and stays together for several months. Accommodation is included, and a deduction for meals is made during the work period.

We work according to the collective agreement between HRF and VISITA.
