Summer Substitutes for Stabbarpsgården HVB & Supported Housing
Description
Stabbarpsgården is now seeking summer substitutes who want to work with youth in need of support and be part of a professional and dedicated staff team.
The work is particularly suitable for those studying or planning to study social work and want insight into how professional treatment work within HVB is conducted in practice.
With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with youth in their daily lives and contribute to creating stability, development, and hope for the future in a vulnerable life situation. The experience from working with us is often valuable for those planning a future in social work.
Before the summer, we offer an introduction to the operations and the opportunity to work alongside permanent staff to gradually get into the work. For the right individuals, there is also the possibility of continued hourly employment after the summer.
About Stabbarpsgården
Stabbarpsgården is a small-scale operation that runs both HVB and supported housing for youth aged 14–20 with psychosocial issues. Many of the youth have experiences of difficulties in relationships, schooling, or mental health, and a large proportion have neuropsychiatric disabilities.
Our ambition is to create a safe, structured, and as normalized daily life as possible for the youth. The daily environment should be home-like and predictable, while the work is characterized by a professional and reflective approach.
The operation has existed for over 25 years and works according to a quality management system based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations for systematic quality work (SOSFS 2011:9).
The staff team consists of treatment pedagogues, behavioral scientists, and social workers who work closely together in daily tasks.
In the treatment work, we base our approach on, among other things:
• trauma-informed care (TMO)
• low-affect approach
• demand adaptation and clear structure in daily life
• methods for impulse control and self-regulation, including RePulse
Stabbarpsgården has a total of 13 places distributed across two units.
The operation is located in Eslöv with good commuting options from, among other places, Lund and Malmö.
