Riding Teacher for Svedens Pony Club - Temporary Position

Svedens Pony Club is a non-profit association and riding school located in a rural setting outside Falun. We offer riding activities for children, youth, and adults in a safe, inclusive, and educational environment. The facility consists of two riding halls, providing good opportunities for varied and quality instruction year-round. We have 19 horses and ponies that are well-trained and adapted to our activities. The well-being of the horses is always central, and horse welfare permeates everything we do.

We have an active competition program and organize several competitions each year, contributing to a lively and developing club environment for both students and staff. A large part of our activities is directed towards children and youth, where we place great emphasis on creating meaningful development, safety, and an inclusive culture.

About the position

As a riding teacher/instructor, you will have a central role in planning and leading riding lessons for children, youth, and adults at various levels. You will create a safe, educational, and inspiring learning environment both in the riding hall and in the stable, and actively contribute to the development of the activities.

Employment: Temporary position for 1 year with possibility of extension

Scope: Full-time (100%)

Working hours: Daytime, evenings, and weekends

Salary: According to agreement

Start date: July 27, 2026

Job duties

· Plan, lead, and conduct riding lessons

· Create a safe and engaging learning environment

· Participate in the daily routines and well-being of the horses

· Maintenance of stable and facility

· Participate in activities and events

· Contribute to the continued development of the activities

We are looking for you who

· Have experience as a riding teacher/instructor

· Have relevant education, e.g., SRL I (meritorious)

· Enjoy working with children and youth

· Are a confident and engaged rider

· Are responsible and cooperative

· Have a Class B driver's license (required)

· Can provide an extract from the criminal records
