Description
Do you want to be part of developing a growing swimming club with clear ambitions and strong community?
About the position
Bålsta Swim Club is an engaged club just outside Stockholm with great development potential and clear ambitions to grow. Currently, the focus is mainly on younger age groups, but our goal is to build a strong, long-term, and sustainable competitive program.
We are now seeking an engaged and driven head coach who wants to help further develop our competitive program while contributing to a warm, safe, and inclusive club community. We work to create a lifelong love of swimming and good conditions for development—both athletically and personally.
As head coach, you have the overall responsibility for the club's competitive program—from daily training work to the long-term development of the activities. You are a key person in the club and plan, lead, and follow up on training in our competitive groups.
A central part of the role is coaching, supporting, and developing our coaches as well as creating a clear thread throughout the entire program. Work in the swim school may occur, with the opportunity to contribute to its continued development.
You work closely with the operations manager, board, and other coaches and collaborate with external actors within swimming. The position includes participation in competitions, camps, and meetings as well as some administrative work. Good system skills, preferably in SportAdmin, are meritorious.
