SAS Development in Mainframe Environment

SAS Knowledge

• SAS Base 9.4
• SAS AF
• SAS STAT and statistical functions in SAS.

Knowledge of OS/390 (IBM Mainframe) and SAS in such an environment.

• Knowledge of how data is stored in mainframe (dataset, allocation, disposition, cataloging, etc.).
• Knowledge of how programs are executed in mainframe (interactively and in batch, JCLs, etc.).
• Knowledge of how SAS functions specifically in a mainframe environment (as opposed to other environments) and the requirements/limitations it entails.
