Receptionist for Kvikkjokk Mountain Station Summer Season 2026

Kvikkjokk is located deep in the Lapland mountain world - at the end of the road. Those who seek the beauty of nature should visit Kvikkjokk. Adjacent to Kvikkjokk are the two large national parks Padjelanta and Sarek, which together with Stora Sjöfallet also form the Laponia World Heritage Site established in 1995 by UNESCO.

There are 60 beds in single to multiple-bed rooms in two buildings. The timber-framed building from 1928 with cozy rooms and common rooms overlooking the Sarek mountains. We offer, in addition to a restaurant, a café and bar as well as a small shop.

Kvikkjokk is a small village and it is 12 miles to Jokkmokk, which is the nearest community. Our guests seek nature experiences and many go out on longer or shorter hikes.

We are looking for a receptionist who wants to work with us during the summer season from mid-June to the end of September

In addition to the usual reception tasks such as check-in and check-out, telephone service, mail, booking, guest information, and cash handling, you also manage our small shop with a mixed range of goods.

We see that you are a cheerful and positive person who can juggle many tasks, enjoys a fast pace, has a great willingness to serve, and is used to taking responsibility. You have a genuine interest in quality and service with "that little extra" and always keep the guest in focus. You work well both independently and in a team, and we value that you have knowledge of one or more booking systems/cash systems; we use HotSoft and Trivec. We assume that you can express yourself well in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English; additional languages are advantageous. We are a small team that supports each other.

Working at the mountain station means that the staff live, socialize, and work together for a few months. Accommodation is included and a meal deduction is made during the work period.

We work according to the collective agreement between HRF and VISITA.
