Summer Substitute for Residential Care Facility Kabit AB
Description
KABIT is a privately owned company operating residential care and supported housing facilities.
You have experience working with children/young people/adults in a human services profession. We see that you have knowledge in the area of neurodevelopmental variations. At KABIT, we have extensive collective expertise regarding social issues and neurodevelopmental variations (NDV). Our knowledge and experience are used to individualize and tailor interventions for each young person and family, regardless of the type of support. This creates opportunities for lasting change.
We are based on a systemic foundation, have a solution-focused approach, use low-arousal interaction, and are experts in functional variations. We tailor solutions that fit the young person and their family.
We have created smaller residential care units with homelike conditions, consisting of five to six places for children/young people aged 10-19 years.
We are now seeking summer colleagues for the Bron HVB and Hoppet HVB facilities. The target groups for the facilities are girls and boys aged 12-18 and 10-19, respectively.
We are now looking for you who are engaged, driven, stress-resistant, have the ability to work independently and in a team, and have a solution-focused mindset.
You should be responsible and organized as well as have strong collaboration skills. You will support children/young people in daily tasks, during activities, set boundaries for the young people when needed, and work motivationally. It is required that you are a secure and stable person in yourself with great patience.
Documentation regarding the young people's development occurs in Journal Digital, so it is of great importance that you can express yourself well verbally and in writing. We work with key worker roles where the key worker has a central role for the young person regarding treatment plans, treatment discussions, and planning. We have external supervision continuously and provide further training for staff to offer broader competence.
We work with a 6-week schedule, and the position includes on-call nights and duty every third weekend.
We always request a criminal record extract prior to any employment and references from previous employers/colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
The facilities are located centrally in Hörby, which provides good commuting opportunities.
Recruitment will occur continuously during the application period.
