Chefs Wanted – Seasonal, Permanent, and Extra Staff

Fisky is now seeking qualified chefs for the summer season, a chef for permanent employment, and competent extra staff as needed.

Fisky Business Dockan is a restaurant with a clear focus on fish. We have a broad à la carte menu and an established lunch offering. The operation is of larger scale with varying service flow, which places high demands on planning, structure, and collaboration.

The kitchen works in teams of 2–4 people and handles daily lunch and à la carte service as well as larger parties with, for example, mingling menus and three-course dinners.

We consistently work with high-quality raw materials and a clear focus on craftsmanship. Bread is baked in-house, stocks are cooked from scratch, and we strive to eliminate processed foods as much as possible. We also make our own ice cream. Attention to detail and respect for the ingredients are a natural part of our working method.

The working hours are scheduled so that one week you work daytime with a focus on lunch service, and the following week you work weekend shifts with longer workdays. The setup is designed to create cohesive teams that collectively take responsibility for the entire weekend's service and delivery.

We are looking for you who:

  • Have documented experience working in restaurant kitchens

  • Are accustomed to à la carte service

  • Work structured and efficiently even under high pressure

  • Have good collaboration skills and a professional attitude

  • Take responsibility for quality, hygiene, and order in the kitchen

We consider special skills in desserts and pastries as meritorious. Experience as a pastry chef or Chef de Pâtisserie is of particular interest as we wish to further develop our dessert offerings.

For extra staff, we prefer that you have previous experience and are flexible, able to work as needed, primarily during weekends and high season.
