Fyren EkAlmen is a well-established F-6 school in Örebro municipality, with a family-like atmosphere, based on valuing and working for safety and well-being – both for students and staff. The school is beautifully located with proximity to Lake Hjälmaren and natural areas in Ekeby-Almby east of Örebro.

For the autumn term 2026, we are looking for a cook who wants to become one of the employees in "Byssan" - our preparation kitchen. You will, together with two other cooks, be responsible for cooking, special diets, dishwashing, cleaning, etc. You need to have an adequate education for the position and experience is meritorious.

The position is permanent with a start in August 2026. Working hours 80% daytime, Monday to Friday.

Every day, approximately 350 portions are served for lunch, and thereafter snacks are prepared for the after-school program.
