Social Educator for Supported Housing

About Us

Our supported housing operation targets young adults who need help creating a stable and independent existence. We work to provide residents with tools and conditions to take responsibility for their own lives and development. Through a combination of support, guidance, and relationship-building efforts, we contribute to creating a safe environment where the young can grow and achieve their goals.

Job Duties

As a social educator with us, you will:

• Support residents in their daily lives and guide them toward independence.

• Assist with practical matters such as finances, cooking, and other household tasks.

• Work on relationship-building and create trust-based conversations to support the individual's personal development.

• Support in contacts with authorities, schools, and other actors.

• Plan and conduct activities to promote community and individual well-being.

• Document and follow up on efforts and development.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are educated as a social educator or treatment educator (required).

• Have at least 2 years of experience working with young adults or similar target groups.

• Have a driver's license and access to a personal car (required).

• Have a low-affect and relationship-building approach.

• Are confident, independent, and have a good ability to handle challenging situations.
